This section of the web site is designed to assist novice knitters or those new to handspinning who are just not sure how to make the move from knitting with commercial yarn using commerical patterns to knitting with their own hand spun yarn. Why would that be tricky? Because the thickness of your handspun wool isn't necessarily doing to match up nicely with the standard thicknesses of commerical produced wool.
